This year's High School Historians Forum will explore how young Virginians have shaped the commonwealth's history, both in the recent and distant past. While at the forum, students will take part in oral history workshops, develop multimedia content for the Virginia Historical Society (VHS), and learn about careers in the field of history.

The 2012 forum will take place July 18-20, 2012, and will consist of three day-long programs at the VHS and surrounding area. This program is open to all rising high school juniors and seniors.

All applications must be received no later than June 8. Apply online at: vahistorical.org/education/education_hshf2012.htm.

Managing Editor of Publications
