On Wednesday, December 6th, at noon, longtime journalist Howard Owen will
be at the Library of Virginia to discuss and sign his eighth novel, _Rock
of Ages_. In this book he continues the story of Littlejohn McCain’s
willful prodigal daughter, Georgia McCain, a character from _Littlejohn_,
his debut novel. Please join us to hear more about this beautifully
written book that is a first-rate murder mystery.

Also, please note that our next lecture will be an evening event. Fitzhugh
Brundage will speak about "Myth and Memory: The Southern Past," on
Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 5:30 pm.
