Would there have been Militia listings or muster rolls? Isn't there some
bounty records from Congress after the war for patriotic services?

Subject: Hanover Volunteers

In May 1775 Patrick Henry led the "Hanover Volunteers" from Newcastle, in
Hanover County, to Williamsburg to obtain payment for the public's gunpowder
that was taken from Hanover by the Governor. I am looking for a record, if
it exists, of the names of those Hanover Volunteers. Any help would be
appreciated.
