Does anyone have any info/sources of info on the port at Hobbe's (Hobbes, Hobbs) 
Hole on the Rappahannock River?

Specifically, were the merchant ships that delivered goods there from England 
warped along wharves extending out into the river or did they anchor in deep 
water and were unloaded/loaded by/from lighters?
