Shirley,

I can't find the correct volume of will abstracts but on page 51 of
Benjamin Weisiger's Henrico County, Virginia Deeds 1705-1737 is this entry

"p113 (Deeds 1714-1718) Edward Bowman of Henrico Co., for love and
affection to my son Rice Jones and my daughter Frances of this county, a
plantation now in their possession , on the north side of Swift Creek
and an Indian
child, Aggy. Dated 1 Aug 1716. Wit Wm Worsham, Wm Royall, John Bowman
Signed Edw'd (EB) Bowman Recorded 1 Oct 1716"

Rice/Rees Jones must be dead by 1734 because Frances is selling pieces
of this parcel without him in a later deed.

Hope this helps,

Marilyn Jackson
