I have been unable to obtain early (1610-1650) information on Nansemond County due to natural catastrophies:: burned courthouse, records lost ....as well as political reasons e.g. absorption of the county into other civil-political entities.  Any help out there with court, chancery or county data?  Thanks in advance.  George Williams
