Ms. Solomon,
I believe what you're seeing is "CHY" not "CHG." "CHY" is an
abbreviation for "Chancery" indicating that those cases were heard in
chancery court.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [VA-ROOTS] Rappahannock COunty VA Court Minutes
I have been going through the court minute books for Rappahannock
county.
My questions is when you see a list of names followed by the
designation "Chg" what does it mean?
Example
Brooke vs. Brooke Chg
I keep seeing this over and over in the index to the minutes and when I
go to
the page I see this in a list of others. Can anyone help?
