Looking for burial location of Martin Sweeney who was born 11/3/1825 in New
Kent County and died 3/21/1871 in Richmond, VA. He was married twice, first
to a Lucy Ann Barnes who died 8/12/1854. His second wife Martha Dunnavant
Willis moved to New Jersey after his death where she died in 1903.

Martin was a grocer and his father Stephen B. Sweeney made salt glazed
stoneware and sold it in a store on 14th Street between Cary and Dock. You
find some of his work popping up now and then in auctions as finer examples of
Henrico County stoneware.

Stephen B. Sweeney, wife Virginia E. and son Charles Henry Sweeney (brother
to Martin) are all buried in a Sweeney plot at Oakwood cemetery, Richmond,
VA but no sign of Martin nor Lucy.

Please post where Martin and Lucy may be buried? Thanks!
