Thanks Dale.

That takes care of the question of who John
Gollatt was, he was my ancestor John Gullatt's
uncle whose will was made 02 Mar 1784 and
probated 06 Apr 1784 Fairfax Co.VA and who was
listed on the 1782 Fairfax Co. VA census. Knowing
where the data came from and when it was taken
makes the difference. The census data is not
really for 1790 but from 6 to 8 years earlier.
