Charles Francis Cocke compiled and the Virginia State Library (now the
Library of Virginia) published three guides to Anglican parishes in
colonial Virginia: Parish Lines, Diocese of Southwestern Virignia
(1960), Parish Lines, Diocese of Southern Virginia (1964), and Parish
Lines, Diocese of Virginia (1967). The chapter, "Parishes of the
Established Chruch, 1607-1785," in the Library of Virginia's Hornbook of
Virginia History, 4th edition, ed. Emily J. Salmon and Edward D. C.
Campbell, Jr. (1994) also lists the colonial parishes.
