I have a note that the Fredericksburg Virginia Herald of May 5, 1791 has an
obituary of Neil McCoull:
"Died, on the 27th in the 52nd year of his age, Mr. Neil McCoull.
He was a native of Scotland, and for many years a merchant of
credit and reputation in this palce. The goodness of his heart, and
the benevolence of his disposition, make him deservedly regretted."
Neil McCoull's wife was Ann McDonald, daughter Rev. Daniel McDonald and
Ellen Barrett.
