Dear Friend:
My name is J. Edgar Sherman and it would please me to help to you. There
is an elementery school in McLean, Virginia (Fairfax County) named after my
ggrandfather Franklin Sherman, who was on the school board until his death in
1915. Also, Mayo Stuntz (703-620-2690), who lives in Fairfax County wrote a
book published in 1987, "This Was Vienna, Virginia" and he could possibly
help for he is up on Fairfax County affairs.
Another idea is the Fairfax County Historical Society, P.O. Box 415,
Fairfax, Virginia (703-246-2123). You may like to try Fairfax County
Information at 703-324-3185 and the fairfax County Park Authority at
703-324-8700.
Kindest regards,
Ed Sherman, Governor Society of Mayflower Descendants in the state of SC
