May I, too, put in 2 cents worth?  As Dale said,
LDS is not making money.  They are also not
charging anything to we "gentiles" who benefit
greatly from sources their members paid to
produce.  They give all this information to us
as a GIFT.  There is an old farmer's saying,
"Don't look a gift-horse in the mouth" which
perhaps should apply here.

In the likelihood that some on the list weren't
reared on a farm, the meaning of this is that
you don't scrutinize a gift to find its value--at
least not in view of the giver--as this is impolite.
(The way one finds the age of a horse is to look
at its teeth.)  You are just supposed to say
"Thanks," and appreciate it whatever its value.
