Hello to the list:

Would anyone know if the Library of Virginia has records of land tax and/or
personal property from the years prior to the fire in Buckingham Co. (1869).
I don't how the county reported to the state, and would like to be
enlightened...Please note I am speaking of the source documents, not compiled
books..

For those of you who may be following my ole Samuel Robertson research...I
have gone back to Buck. Co. this week and re-looked at what is there...I now
have even more candidates who are NOT HIS FAMILY!.  To make matters even
worse; there are at least two contemporary Samuels!
