Lawrence Raines/Raynes/Rains was born in Culpeper County 15 Oct 1760. I
suspect Lawrence had a brother William and maybe Larkin as these names
ended up in New Haven (Rockingham Co.) in the early 1800s. I know he had a
son James. Would someone with the marriage records from this period mind
checking on the Raines boys? I would appreciate any resources on this line.
