infant - is a legal term referring to one under the age of majority (21 as
we know it today)

I assume that the Law, when using the term "infant" meant persons
under the age of 21. ?????

It's just mind-boggling that law-makers back then actually referred
to anyone under the age of 21 as "Infants". Quiet a difference
between what we know now as "Infants".
