For those interested in the family of Henry York & Docia Ann Runyon,
today I received a copy of the Marriage License for their daughter
Ada York & Ralph white. A transcript will be below.
This Marriage license for Ada brings into question as to whether or
not Ralph White actually married Ada's half sister Edna York,daughter
of Henry York & Dicey Starr. It is already documented that Ada's half
sister Edna York married Nathan Chafin March 10,1907 in Mingo Co.WV.
I would welcome comments on this, especially if anyone can quote from
a documented source!! The marriage license below for Ada York and
Ralph White has the same marriage date and source location as that
previously thought to be for Edna York & Ralph White.
All other views appreciated, pro or con!!
