 Joseph Charles Cavender born January 23, 1858
in Illinois to John Charles Cavender and Nancy Pascall,
enlisted in the 34th. Illinois Volunteer Infantry in August 18??,
first married Mary E. McCollum on September 10, 1879
in Jasper County, Iowa, later married Catherine E. Hummell
on January 1, 1885 in Jasper County, Iowa, died in St. Louis,
Missouri in October 18??. Mary McCollum was born about
1853 in either Virginia or in Jasper County, Iowa, and
Catherine Hummell was born in September 1859 in Jasper
County, Iowa.

QUERY: Does anyone know the date Joseph Charles joined
the military, and also does anyone know the date he died?
