I am still searching for a Moses Estes of VA. b.abt 1732. He had three
sons: Bethlehem, Nathaniel, and Galant. I have him living in the
Pendleton District of SC in the 1790 census. I am trying to tie him to
VA. While realizing there were several Moses Estes in VA around this
time, I have been unable to make a connection with VA for this Moses
other than family tradition (oral history) which says he came from VA.

He may have had other sons than the above....also I do not know his
wife(s) name(s). I do know that the man's origins are a MYSTERY to a
lot of us. If there is anyone who can help please contact the list or
me. This is getting old and I have been trying for over 10 years to
trace him from 1790 SC. I am on the verge of giving up on him
completely.

Thanks,

Thurston Estes
