I will always recall a trip I made to Richmond one year, and one of the
things I did was take a tour of Virginia Military Sites around the city. I
really enjoyed it and would like to do it again. It was pointed out,
however, that some of the signs were not actually at the site of the battle
or skirmish--they had been moved to put in a new road or some other reason.
As a matter of fact, at one point, there were about six signs propped up
against each other, all depicting military action, none of which took place
right there! These were all historical markers.

That was the disappointing part.
