The Library of VA has a book published by the VA Conservation Commission in
1931 titled State Historical Markers of Virginia. Colonial, Revolutionary and
nineteenth-century.

John S. Salmon has compiled the book A Guide to Virginia's Historical
Markers, published by VA Dept. of Historic Resources. It was for sale in
bookstores in the Richmond area a few years ago. The Va. Dept. of Historic
