My ancestor, William PEMBERTON, had land located just south of the current town of Spotsylvania and currently located in
the Battlefield Park (according to Theresa Fischer "Forgotten Companions".  Does anyone have any idea what county that
part of Spotsylvania came from?  Or did all of Spotsylvania come from Essex???
