Thank you for this information - which I just 'rediscovered' while searching, again, for Newton.
Do you have any information on Newton Keene's ancestors? I am looking for a common ancestor that might have also had the name "Newton", as I am now convinced that my ancestor's given/birth name was probably Newton Keene, and he changed it some time in his adult life to Napoleon B. Keene.
