There is a slave graveyard at George Washington Birthplace, which is entangled with a huge tree. It was also discovered accidentally, by someone working the grounds there. It makes you wonder, "What lies beneath..."

It's about the headstone of a Martha J. Mahan who died Aug. 13, 1854.  The headstone was found recently in the middle of a huge tree that had to be taken down due to wind damage. So the next time you can't find that tombstone, grab an axe & start swinging at the neareat good sized tree!
