These to cemteries in Norfolk are across Princess Anne Road from each other
and are huge. I believe that Cedar Grove is the oldest. There is a wonderful
small staff which oversees the records there and has cards and maps to show
where someone is buried. The last time that I was there nothing was on
computer, but the fols there could not have been kinder.

Northwest is, of course, in the southeast corner of Virginia on the Northwest
River off Rt 168 just south of Hickory. This whole area of small settlements
has been swallowed by the city of Virginia Beach (old Princess Anne County)
and the city of Chesapeake (old Norfolk County).
