Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, Brothers & Sisters!
How far back is 23 generations? If the generations turn over approximately
every 27 years for a person born in 1930 this would take them back to about
1309 AD. King of England Edward Plantagenet III and Queen Phillipa de
Hainaut would be among the likely ancestors back then. Charlemagne is 64
generations back.
14 generations back will get you back to the generation of the first people
who came from England to Jamestown. Only a very few of this generation came
to Jamestown.
