There is a Cox High School in Virginia Beach - that sits very close to the
Chesapeake Bay and Lynnhaven River on land that was settled very early...
maybe some research in that area.

Hello..I am back to researching my Cox paternal line..Please, may I have a
bit of assistance?

I have read where Henry Cox d. before 1744 (son of George Cox and Martha
Stratton) was married to a Mary Jones whose parents were Rees Jones and
Frances Bowman. I have googled and searched..obviously haven't searched
hard enough; but am at least reaching out for some hints!

Thank you for any clues.

Best,
Shirley Cox Schroeder
