Marie,

It was John and William Caldwell who founded the settlement on Cub Creek --
they purchased the land from Richard and William Kennon.  To my knowledge,
the list that appears in the text of Rich Indeed is the only one compiled.
It was extrapolated from the original deeds from the Kennons and first
published in 1931 in Elizabeth Venable Gaines's book "Cub Creek Church and
Congregation."  As it states in Rich Indeed, the list may not be complete.
