The book "Charlotte County...Rich Indeed" has a list of Charlotte County Militia and other soldiers 1767 - 1853.  For the period you are interested in it seems to list mostly officers only -- what name are you looking for?

  This may be a stupid question but I will ask anyway.? I would love to access Muster Rolls for the Virginia Militia for the period 1820 through1840s.? Where would one look to find such information?? I am particularly interested in the 26th Regiment of the VA Militia and any information on the Charlotte County Militia.? Thanks.
