Let me say this: I have had three relatives contact me because of Ancestral
File, all of them legitimate, that have add lines WITH DOCUMENTATION to my
lines, and I am still in correspondence with all of them.

LDS is now working on a solution to combining the best parts of Pedigree
Resource File and Ancestral File.

There are good and bad points to the Pedigree Resource File which is GEDCOM
files that are given willingly by individuals, whereas, as we have just
discovered, WFT files are filched from anywhere they can be. Pedigree
Resource Files are supposed to be the answer to Ancestral File and can have
sources. A lot don't and some of the ones that are given are WFT. PRF is as
good as any database you find on the web that doesn't have sources.

The Family History Center that I use has bought all of the PRF files and
made them available to the public. I paid for the first set of five.
