Hello all,

I wanted to thank everyone who has posted information on using the Library. There is some excellent advice in your messages. Exploring the collections online before you visit will save you a great deal of time. This page is a good place to start: http://www.lva.virginia.gov/public/using_collections.asp

On that page you will find links for many online resources, including the Library's catalog and Virginia Memory, which includes digital collections. The Chancery Records are especially helpful for genealogical research: http://www.virginiamemory.com/collections/chancery.

This webpage will help you plan your visit: http://www.lva.virginia.gov/about/visit.asp

In answer to the original question, the Library does not currently have an orientation video on the website.

All the best,

Gregg
