“Discover Richmond Faces & Places”

Speaker: Keary Liu, Educator, The Valentine
The Valentine has been interpreting stories about Richmond for over a 100 years. The NGS Family History Conference comes to Richmond in late May. Come and learn a bit about Richmond’s rich history – from Patrick Henry to Bill “Bojangles” Robinson!
Ms. Liu became a Valentine educator in 2021 after completing a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. A native of North Carolina and graduate of the University of North Carolina, Ms Liu is a life-long educator and has taught in a multitude of settings. She counts a positive energy as a one of her life skills.
