We resume our tour of German states with a visit to Saarland. All research is local! Just as in each of the United States, research in each German state is both general and specific. This year we are exploring the history, geography, and research opportunities for each of the modern German states and city-states

Sylvia Elchinger, the Monument Avenue Family History Center’s resident German expert, leads discussions focusing on Europe’s German-speaking countries, and areas included in the one-time German Empire.Future dates:
