Dear Virginia records managers:
Just a reminder that MONDAY is the last day to purchase tickets to VCOG’s FOIA and records management class at the Library of Virginia.
Ticket sales will close at 9 p.m. on Monday, May 15. At this time, we have 38 tickets remaining.
Here is a brief schedule of events:
9:00-9:30 - Registration
9:30-10:25 - Records management (Glenn Smith)
10:25-10:35 - Break
10:35-11:30 - FOIA (Maria Everett)
11:30-11:40 - Break
11:40-12:30 - Q&A (Glenn Smith, Maria Everett, Megan Rhyne)
There will be coffee/tea and light snacks, but no food or beverage is allowed in the meeting room.
There is some parking underneath the Library, but it is limited. There are numerous surface lots and parking decks around the Library. Check Google Maps for details.
