Prince William County Schools has the listings of all employees names “for educational purpose” on the door of their records rooms.  The doors are locked.  If a file is pulled there must be a signoff with the Registrar and the file must be back in the records room prior to the Registrar going home that evening.  This includes the administration.

Is there a Virginia Code or other legal statute that addressing specific postings that should be on a records room door?  Should the posting identify the names of the people that should have access to the records room?  Or can it just say....Authorized personnel only.
