For those of you who may also be FOIA officers:
This webinar DOES NOT satisfy the annual training requirement found under 2.2-3704.2(E).
Under the current statute, the training requirement can be satisfied only by "legal counsel for the public body or the Virginia Freedom of Information Advisory Council." VCOG is a nonpartisan nonprofit that seeks to educate the public, government and press about how the Freedom of Information Act works. While we have the same goals as the FOIA Council, and we work together whenever possible, our organizations are separate and VCOG's training is offered without affiliation or endorsement by the council.
