For Police Records Administrators or Managers of CCREs
When a juvenile is charged and found guilty as an adult, do you maintain the hard copy of the Central Criminal Records Exchange (CCRE) until 23 (juvenile retention age) or 100 (adult retention age).
The applicable code (16.1-299) is not clear on this. Thank you and if possible, can you please cite the authority or code on which you base your answer.
