Greetings VA-ROL Members,

 

This morning the Library of Virginia’s Records Oversight Committee met and approved proposed additions to both the state and local Administrative Records Retention and Disposition Schedules. All three series have been added to GS-19 and to GS-101.

 

E-Rate Programs

Two series were added to cover records created prior to July 1, 2015 and after June 30, 2015. The FCC is increasing the required retention July 1.

 

Service Recognition Programs

There was no series on a general schedule to cover an agency’ records pertaining to employee/volunteer recognition programs. This series remedies that.

 

These updated schedules are found on the websites for General Schedules for Localities and General Schedules for State Agencies.
