Hello Dallin,
We use Laserfiche here at Western Va. Regional Jail to store our inmate files. It works in unison with our Jail Management System, so that when an inmate is booked in to jail, a Laserfiche record is automatically created. When we get the paperwork here in records, we scan the documents into the file and then add whatever documents we need to during the incarceration period.
Then when an inmate is released, the Laserfiche file will go into an inactive folder.
We have been using Laserfiche for 5 years now with few problems, I have nothing but positive things to say about the system and would highly recommend it. It's easy to use and user friendly and the administrative area is very similar to active directory.
If you have any questions, just let me know and good luck to you.

Good morning!

Our town is currently looking at Laserfiche as an option for our records management. If your organization is already using Laserfiche, could you please respond with a short comment about how well it works for you, what you like most/least, what other uses you've found for Laserfiche in your organization, and whether you'd recommend the program?

Thank you,
