How did you find the name of the ship to connect to your ancestors?

I have ancestors that came to America on The Lion, Antelope, Brothers and
Forest.  Googling ....the ship names come up in conjunction with various
immigrants but woefully little on the ships themselves.
I sure could use some good sources to learn more about these ships.
