The Document Termination Company now EnTrust Records Management is a local (Richmond area) company that handles on site shredding. We found this to be a better option because they charge by the container (large 95 gal container) rather than by the box. No matter how many boxes you get into a container it is still the same price and there were not extra fees. They also cover the other services that you are dividing up with other companies.

What are your experiences/recommendations for shredding services?
We currently use a major vendor for pickup and destruction of loose paper in locked containers, as well as shredding by the SRC and another vendor for boxes stored at their facilities.
I am also interested in a shred truck to handle large-scale shredding of boxed material on-site.
