Good morning,
We’ve seen an increase recently in the number of Certificates
of Records Destruction (RM-3 Forms) being submitted with lists attached. While you’re
welcome to keep this information with your own copy of the RM-3 Form, the
Library will not retain these lists. You should retain a copy of the RM-3 Form under
GS-19, 010090 or GS-101, 100366 “Records Management
Files: Approved Form Masters and Supporting Documentation.”
The RM-3 Form is available online along with instructions at
http://www.lva.virginia.gov/agencies/records/forms.asp.
Please submit forms that are completed in full and type-written.
