Have you "traced" your "Davidson roots?"  I "run" the 
Davidson/Davison/Davisson Genealogy website, and I also volunteer as an 
"Admin" for the Davidson/Davison/Davisson DNA testing project.  If you need 
any assistance with determining your lineage, I would be glad to try to
