The Department of Social Services has made several changes
to GS-15 Social Services Records.
Series 000167 “Adult Protective Services: Founded and
Accepts Assistance” and 000168 “Adult Protective Services:
Unfounded or Founded But Declines Assistance” are now defunct. Two new
APS series have been created. 000282 “Adult Services/Adult Protective
Services (APS): Case Records with Report” and 000406 “Approved
Adult Services Providers Records.”
Series 000170 “Benefits Case Records: Denied” is
now defunct. Retain all benefits records according to 101029 “Benefits
Case Records.”
Additionally, two series have been modified. Series 000169
has been revised to include preadmission screening case records. The
description for 101038 “Services Case Records” has also been
revised to clearly include APS cases.
