Annette, You may already have received an answer, but Fairfax follows the schedule for these records which is listed below. Usually, 3 years after the court order since almost all do not state any other provision for retention, only that they are expunged. We store the Sheriff's records including following the RM-3 procedure for them even though the Sheriff is an elected official and is automatically considered a records officer responsible for their own records.
