Yes, I believe the site was a former home of Eppes and Mary (I believe,
sister of Sally)is buried there in a well maintained burial site. 

Randolph Jefferson, brother of Thomas, owned the Snowden plantation in
Buckingham Co. just across the James River from Scottsville.

Here is some interesting reading about one of Sally Hemming's close 
relatives who was sent to a Buckingham Co., VA.  By the way, I
understand 
that Thomas Jefferson obtained the idea for the brick serpentine wall at
the 
University of VA from a home in Buckingham Co., VA (and it is believed
that 
Thomas Jefferson designed the courthouse in Buckingham).
