I have a database of Shenandoah National Park Land Records published by the Dept of the Interior. They surveyed nearly 4,000 tracts within the original proposed park boundary and evaluated the existing buildings, orchards and timber trees. Many of the tracts listed were not bought for the park and some were partially purchased. It also lists the amount paid by the State for the acreage that was purchased. I will do lookups of the information. E. Tanner [log in to unmask] To subscribe, change options, or unsubscribe please see the instructions at http://listlva.lib.va.us/archives/va-roots.html
