I was recently doing a individual web search from within Family Tree Maker
for Fisher Amos, my granduncle, and discovered that what has to be the
family file I submitted to Rootsweb (too many matches not to be) is now
being sold by subscription on Ancestry.com under the One World Tree. How and
when did this happen? I always felt positive about having my tree at
Rootsweb because of the ability to reach out, share, and hopefully locate
family.

Has anyone else experienced this? I hate to delete my information from
Rootsweb, but I having them charge for the information is not acceptable. Is
it possible the information could be obtained elsewhere? I have checked on
both Ancestry.com and MyFamily.com to make sure I haven't inadvertently
created a tree at either site.
