Kathleen, as to the Thornton family you mentioned. Rowland Thornton of
Richmond Co, Va., born 8-1-1685, will dated 9-21-1741, son of Francis and
Alice Savage.  He married Elizabeth Catlett, dau of Col. John Catlett.
Are these the Thorntons you are looking for? I have many, and they have
