The Library of Virginia is pleased to announce the opening on 6 December 2000 of a major new exhibition, "Pleasure in the Garden," featuring artifacts, books, prints, landscape drawings, and other works of art and items from the collections of the Library of Virginia depicting the long history of gardening and landscape in Virginia. Library of Virginia Exhibitions Coordinator Barbara C. Batson is curator of the exhibition. Admission is free, and the exhibition will remain on view until 12 May 2001.
